Vintage Westclox Alarm Clock in Black and Ivory (c.1943)
This hard-to-find wind-up alarm clock by Westclox is a perfect addition to a clock collection!
This clock was made by Western Clock Company in the 1940s. The back of the clock has "Maximum Price $1.65, Exclusive of Taxes" etched into it - cool! The clock is an alarm clock with an alarm dial at the top of the clock.
Add this clock to your collection, or take it apart (gasp!) and use the cool pieces for altered art or mixed media art, jewelry or hair pins. Or... just place this piece on a shelf in your library or shop as a reminder of a by-gone era.
Be creative!
ITEM CONDITION:
This clock is in very good vintage condition. The black paint has areas of paint loss and a small amount of surface rust, as shown. The glass clock face is free of chips, cracks, and breaks. The base of the clock is still securely attached. We tested this clock over a period of 36 hours, and it worked with no problem, and did keep time. The alarm also works, and is quite loud. Please keep in mind, that old clocks can stop working at any time, and we have no control over that. Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and its condition.
