Vintage Mailing Tube with Screw Top by Improved Mailing Case Co. 10.5" tall (c.1920s)

This vintage industrial mailing tube has so many uses!

Use the mailing case on your desk to hold your pens and pencils. Use it in your studio or shop to hold paint brushes and drawing supplies. Put a glass in the tube, fill the glass with water and use it as a vase for your favorite fresh cut long-stem flowers. You could even use the mailing tube as a unique gift box for a special gift! The tube would also look great displayed on a shelf.

Of course, you could also use the tube to mail a special note to a friend - imagine their surprise when they get this in the mail!

ITEM CONDITION
This mailing tube is in very good vintage condition. The tin cap, bottom, and rim shows a bit of patina. The screw cap is easy to put on and remove. The heavy-cardboard tube is a very good condition with no dents or dings, and is nicely worn. There are two New York stamps on the tube, one a 6 cent stamp, the other a 30 cent stamp. The bottom of the tin is embossed with "Improved Mailing Case Co, New York". Please use the ZOOM tool to get a close up view of this item and its condition.
