Made in the 1950s, this set appealed to the angler looking for a rugged, mobile fishing outfit that was easy to pack. The metal carrying case houses a fishing pole, reel, tackle, bait can, and all the other pieces needed for a hike to the lake, river or stream for a relaxing day of fishing.
This set is perfect for a collection. Imagine this set displayed in a rustic shadow box on your cabin wall or Man Cave! Of course, you could empty the carrying case and use the metal tube for storage in your office, shop, or studio to hold rolled paper and craft supplies. Lots of clever ways to use this piece!
ITEM CONDITION:
This metal carry case is in very good vintage condition. There are small areas of surface rust, as well as a few small dents and dings in the metal, as shown. The two pieces fit together very well, and come apart easily. The metal handle is strong and secure. The blue paint for the logo and stripes is in good condition with minor scratches, as shown. The inside of the metal tube is clean. All of the components shown in the first photo are included, and are in very good vintage condition.
