Maybe she married at a very young age (to the man in our next shop listing). They met when she was just 17. He was a distinguished gentleman who wore immpecible pinstripe suits, who came into her father's store each day. She smiled at him every time they passed each other, until one day he stopped and chatted with her. His voice was low and mesmerizing, and he made her feel like she was the most beautiful girl in the world. One day, they went for a walk, and he took her hand in his... and asked her to become his bride! She wept happy tears, and then immediately began to plan their wedding ceremony...

ITEM CONDITION
This antique cabinet card photograph is in good condition - especially considering it is around 140 years old. The photograph is intact. The bottom of the card is printed with "When, 1631 Franklin Ave., St. Louis, MO.". The backside of the card is printed with "When, 1893, 1631 Franklin Ave, St. Louis, First Premiums Awarded 1888-89-90-91-92-93" There is also the number "23.973" written in pencil on the back of the card - it appears to be a family tree record number.
